Standard Features on All Trim Options

The new CX-90 hybrid has many features that come standard on all trims, such as a 2.5L engine, a 68 kW electric motor, rear-biased i-ACTIVE AWD, and an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shifting capabilities.

All trim levels come with a power-sliding-glass moonroof, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped shift knob for style and comfort. Blind Spot Monitoring is standard for safety. All trim levels also include 4 USB inputs, a 12.3-inch fully digital LCD Meter Display, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay integration to keep you connected on the go.

PHEV Preferred

The PHEV Preferred is the only trim level with 8-seat passenger capabilities, so if you want the most seating, this is the trim level for you. The Preferred trim comes with Mazda Cruise Control with stop-and-go technology and 3 MI Drive Modes: EV, Sport, and Off-Road.

The PHEV Preferred has a Rear Power Liftgate with programmable height adjustment, 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a silver finish, black or Greige leather interior options, and Deep Crystal Blue Mica, Jet Black Mica, or Platinum Quartz Metallic exterior color options. Rhodium White Premium, Soul Red Crystal Metallic, and Machine Gray Metallic exterior colors are available for an upgraded price.

PHEV Premium Sport

Like the Preferred, the PHEV Premium Sport comes equipped with Mazda Cruise Control technology but with the added benefit of Auto Speed Limit Assist. A fourth MI-Drive Mode for towing gives you more versatility in driving options.

The Premium Sport is fitted with an upgraded hands-free version of the Rear Power Liftgate, heated front seats, 20-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a black finish, and the additional exterior color option Sonic Silver Metallic, unavailable on the Preferred trim.

PHEV Premium Plus

The PHEV Premium Plus is the most elevated trim level for the Mazda CX-90. Premium Plus offers the best style, safety, and convenience features of the 2025 CX-90. If you want a top-of-the-line hybrid SUV, this is it.

The Premium Plus comes with Nappa leather-trimmed seats, heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seating, a windshield wiper de-icer, automatic power-folding side mirrors, an auto-dimming driver’s side mirror, 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels with machine-cut finish, Bose Centerpoint Surround Sound with twelve speakers, and a heated steering wheel.
